PetroSummit is a one day event dedicated to Petroleum Engineering, focus on the present advances, research and technology in the area. The event is addressed for students and aims to establish a link between students and professionals from the oil and gas industry providing an exchange of knowledge and experiences and encouraging networking.

The first edition of PetroSummit will be dedicated to the "New trends and challenges in Petroleum Engineering" where there will be a series of lectures held by professionals from E&P of oil and gas industry.

The idea starts from a group of students from IST SPE Student Chapter and Técnico SEG Student Chapter and is supported by the Master in Petroleum Engineering from IST, Instituto Superior Técnico, and CERENA, Centro de Recursos Naturais e Ambiente.

The event is free and opened to all student community.
